Hi
I would like to know your views regarding unfair dismissal claim. Below is a brief summary of my case:
•I was dismissed i.e. made redundant as my last fixed-termed contract was not renewed. I have been in continuous employment with the employer since 01
December 2000. I have had a continuous sequence of fixed term contracts since that date through to 31 July 2008.
•It is unfair because their redundancy process is flawed. I was not informed in writing or verbally of my right to appeal against my dismissal. Instead I
have been unfairly discriminated against by being targeted for dismissal via redundancy on the grounds
of the lack of financial resources.
I have been contacted by an ACAS conciliator that employer would like a settlement. A figure was offered.
I would like to enquire if I should accept or decline this offer? If I will to decline this offer, how much
do you reckon that I would receive from the Employment Tribunal if I were to win? Can you advise me on this
matter, please?
