My boss has signed us up to a 3 year contract with Drury PSM, it seems expensive to me, over £3k a year for a staff of >10. Office workers only. At the moment I have handled anything HR related and I also do the accounts & payroll. I have experience within the public sector at HR and keep up to date with current legislation etc. We have a happy staff, no issues of absence or sickness apart from the odd day off here & there. Do we really need such a service?
The contarct seems to delve into great lengths on H&S, but we work in a managed open plan office, which includes maintenance etc of physical things within the premises. Also, we have a policy of paying for the full cost of any sight tests for any staff. Only one person has ever taken us up on this but they all know its available.
Basically my boss is a nice guy who wants to do right by his valued staff – have Drury PSM picked up on this and sold him soemthing we probably don’t need?

Any thought or opinions are very welcome.
