Ive just started (literally) a new role as Training & development Officer for a manufacturing company and they are looking to implement a competency based training / Grading system to improve efficiency, quality, skill levels & flexibility especially technical competencies in areas such as Filling, production, admin, mixing, engineering, Warehouse & Planning, Quality, H&S, Finance & Site Services, HR.
This has been started in one part of the factory but further development is needed. This will also be linked to the aprraisal process. Has anyone done something similar and would be kind enough to share advice and examples please.
