Is this request flexible working?

Hi

I wonder if you can help.

An employee who qualifies to make a request for flexible working has asked for a change to her contract. She currently works 4 days a week but wants to increase it to 5 but work at least one day from home. I’m not sure if an increase in hours constitutes flexible working or not?

Any advice would be gratefully received.
