Speaking hypothetically here. If we put aside any agreements that you may have with trade unions and custom and practice of poor performance procedures. IN LAW what is the minimum length of time i can give someone to pull their socks up before i fire them? Most companies I have experienced have conveluted procedures which means that if you can be bothered it takes months and sometimes even years but if you would write your own policy based on minimum law how quick could you do it and how?
