A recent work promotion was accompanied by an offer letter detailing revised base salary amount, bonus entitlement and start date. The offer was accepted on this basis.
However, upon receipt, a week later, of the full job contract the salary differs by £2,000 (contract amount is less). This has been questioned and I’ve been advised that a “mistake” was made on the offer letter.
What’s the legality of this and any suggestions how to progress please?
