I was on a course recently and a woman told me about her bullying boss. I talked about harrassment policies and talking to others. But it wasn’t really relevant. The bully was the Chief Executive of a small firm. The team of workers had such good relationships with each other that they endured the regular bullying of the boss.
Where does anybody go in this situation? She didn’t want to leave as she felt protective of other staff, and anyhow she enjoyed her work and the company of her fellow workers?
I was at a loss as to what to suggest. Any ideas?
