bank holiday entiltlement

i have two night duty security officers, that work 12 hour shifts 3 nights on 3 nights off.quite often there days off fall on a bank holiday monday,should they be given a extra day off in lieu as there days off fell on a bank holiday.they have contracts of employment that state they are entiled to 25 days leave,plus 8 days public holidays.
