I work for a construction company and there has been an increase (across the board) of plant and materials “going missing”. This isn’t happening on any particular site so it is difficult to investigate.
We don’t have a policy which allows us to “stop and search” employees but this is something we are looking into at the moment. Does anyone have a policy I could have a look at and get a feel for what other companies do?
