Notice Period and holidays

Hi All,

Could anybody please confirm –

If an employee gives 4 weeks notice, but has accrued 1 weeks holiday, can they legally give notice less holidays (i.e. effectively 3 weeks notice) or is this at the companies discretion whether this is allowed ?
