First Aid / Fire Warden Allowances

Hi

Does anyone pay their First Aiders and Fire Wardens an allowance? If so, what amount of money do you typically pay them and is it a monthly or annual amount?

Does anyone have some background information they can share with me so I can convince our Directors that it is a good thing to do?
