We have been asked to train operators on using refuse vehicles between the hours of 22:00 hours and 06:00 hours.
We have a concern regarding alertness of trainees in the small hours of the morning, particuarly from a safety aspect. The request for these unusual hours is driven by the customer however we feel this is unsafe practice and would appreciate others views.
