I have been with my current employer for 5 years.

2.5 years ago, my hours were changed from Full time to part time.

My employers are now saying that the holiday entitlement on my revised part time contract was incorrect – they gave me too many holidays, and they now want to change the contract.

Are my employers allowed to change my contract ?

I understand that this was an error, but this is not my fault.

I also understand that as I have been getting these holidays for the last 2.5 years that they effectively become implied terms and re-inforce the express terms in my contract (even though my employer is saying this contract is wrong !!).

Altough my employer is not asking for me to “pay back” my past holidays, I am not happy in seeing a reduction.

Can anybody offer any guidence on the above ?
