We have several employees who transferred to our company about 8 years ago under a TUPE transfer. Part of their existing terms was the entitlement to 35 days annual leave per year. We are finding this a problem because all our other employees are entitled to 25 days per year. Also from a production point of view, it is more difficult to sustain. Is there any way we can take the extra days away from them – perhaps by buying them out and adding the value to their salary? Is there anything else we can do?
Can anyone advise?
Thanks!
Caroline.
