I Have recently joined a Finance company and implemented terms and conditions for 150 staff. In the contract i added a training cost clause to enable us to recover the cost of external training undertaken. We have since had to invoke this clause for an employee. The querie I have is that they embarked upon the training prior to the terms and conditions coming into force, is it therfore possible for us to recoup this cost.
