We are looking to introduce an absence policy, where if you have say 5 periods of absence in a fixed period of time, subject to return to work interviews, you will then be subject to disciplinary proceedings, again subject to full investigation. Does anyone have a policy similar to this, that I could review for ideas? Or alternatively has anyone tried to introduce a similar policy and what was the effect.
