Hi there,
I’ve been approached by one of our managers asking if I can sent out an email to our staff reminding them of the flu jabs and the people with certain conditions who should ensure they have one done.
He also wants me to emphasise in the email/memo that people with flu/cold in the early stages would be better sometimes to stay off rather than come in and infect everyone!
It’s not been done before here and I can imagine if it’s incorrectly worded, it could potentially annoy people more than make them realise we’re concerned.
So anyone do anything like this before? With regard to the flu jab etc., I think it’s a good idea if we can do something to remind people perhaps? I’d be a bit concerned about the other element of the email and some people may take that as carte blanche to go off at the first sign of a cold? What do you think?
Any thoughts or experiences of this kind of thing, good or bad, gratefully received.
Thanks.
