The thorny issue of untaken holidays usually raises it’s head at this time of year for us. The point I would like I would like to clarify concerns what to do if the statutory 4 weeks are not taken. We always encourage everyone to take all their holidays, but occasionally things do not go to plan. Is there a problem if there is a mutual agreement between employer and employee? I have had conflicting opinions on this and ACAS were unable to give me a truly definitive answer, so your thoughts would be most welcome.
