We are currently implementing a pay grade system which we wish to link to developing employees to raise the skill level within the business.
We seek to achieve this by producing Performance Criteria checklists in which employees need to be signed off as competent for each machine in the manufacturing operation. Operators will then be assessed. We were looking at A11/A12 as a formal procedure for assessment however we have committed to introducing the scheme asap.
We have already agreed a pay grading structure with the Union, which employees will receive an increase when they achieve a required level.
However, I would like some assistance with designing and implementing the Performance Criteria checklists.
Has anyone else implemented something similar and would they like to share their experiences or forms?
