Most effective route to attain IPD?

I am a 23 year old gradute, (BA & MA in Geography University of Newcastle upon Tyne)and have just started work as a Personnel Officer.I would like to attain a grduate IPD qualification. Suggestions re. the following would be greatly appreciated:
1. What are the alternatives in terms of part time / open learning study?
2. Which providers are rated as the ‘best’?

Any personal recommendations would be welcome.I live in Yorkshire but have a UK national remit.
