I currently produce a variety of HR employment statistics on an annual and quarterly basis for the organisations Corporate Board (including turnover, equalities profiles).
I have now been asked to provide HR teams with a range of HR workforce data on a monthly basis. I don’t want to include information that has limited value on the short timeframe of a monthly basis (such as turnover). There is always a danger of providing information that is not actually used by management in the long term, but I am required to provide ideas of what they might like to see. Unfortunately, I only have data on workforce, so I can include indicators based on training, absence or recruitment. Current ideas include % of filled posts/% vacancies, % of posts filled on temporary contracts/% long term contracts.
If anyone has any examples of monthly indicators which they use and would like to share, I would be very interested.
