I’m carrying out some research into the use of vetting procedures by employers to check criminal records, references, and whether the information on cvs is true etc, and would be grateful for any information/opinions that people may have on the subject. I would particularly like to know whether employers would consider carrying out these checks on their new/existing staff, and whether they would prefer to use the Criminal Records Bureau, or another provider.
