An Employee had gone to Africa on annual leave for 3 weeks. He phoned before the leave was due to expire to say that he was having problems with his father’s Estate. He did not return and phoned a Manager to say that he wanted to take 6 months extended leave to contest the Will of his Father. The Manager could hardly hear the employee as it was a very bad line – has anyone got any advice???
