My employer is advertising an internal only role that is essentially a promotion for anyone on the team (more senior role in same team). Someone from another team has applied for it, and that other persons job is now viewable on a external job recruitment site (collecting CV’s), giving proof that the person from the other team has got the job even before the interviews have started. Is this legal?
