I am keen to learn how other companies manage long & short term absence.
I am interested in things like:
– What is HR’s involvement?
– How much does the line manager do?
– Do you use training or tools to help enable managers to effectively manage absence? if so, what?
– What parameters do you set in dealing with absences?
– What are the main weaknesses within your company when dealing with absence?
– Do you think that your current procedure is effective enough?
If you can think of anything that I might find useful then I am happy to absord as much information as possible. In exchange I am happy to assist in any questions etc anyone else may have to help with any projects etc they are working on.
