I have a staff member who has taken all her OML, and is now into AML. Prior to her maternity leave starting, she notified us that she wished to return during her AML (to return in September), and will take a period of holiday so her return is October. She is not using all her AML weeks.
She has now said that she wants to take all her AML. We’ve never done maternity leave before, and I can’t find any guidance on this subject – so, is she able to take this, and if so how much notice does she need to give us, and do I have to agree?
