A free, web based good practice advice and training package for organisations wanting to know more about new information and consultation (I&C) regulations is available from Acas.
The material – available at the Acas website – aims to help employers, employees and their representatives reach agreements under the regulations coming into force on 6 April 2005.
It includes:
* good practice advice
* details of the new legislation
* an online ‘how to do it’ learning course
* a trainers’ toolkit for HR professionals to use in their own organisation.
The trainers’ toolkit provides a range of materials – from suggested programmes to interactive exercises – to help organisations to run in-house training on the new regulations for their managers and employees.
