Employment relations expert Acas has re-launched its website, promising to put customers first.
New features for HR professionals, employers and employees, together with regional pages to provide businesses with details of training and services on offer in the local area, can now be found at www.acas.org.uk
The site, which claims to benefit the UK economy to the tune of £32 million, also promises improved navigation and tailored guidance for employers and employees.
In 2007 there were over 3 million visits to the website and nearly a million copies of Acas publications were downloaded free of charge.
John Taylor, chief executive, Acas said: “Making our resources accessible and easy to find creates strong benefits for local businesses. Using our expertise, we have been able to add to what is already a very valuable website, helping organisations large and small save time and money. Whether it’s maternity leave or bullying or training or equality, the Acas website covers all the key topics which can help managers deal effectively with people issues.”
