Setting up an HRIS system
Has anyone out there used an HRIS “as standard” / standard configuration / “out of the box” and had good or bad experiences that they could share with me?

Recommendations for an HR system
I’m looking for a new HR system that I’d like to be hosted.
I need the system to be able to track holidays, sickness, skills, bonus scheme and targets, etc. Let me know if you’re using someone and if they are good or bad.
Thanks
Richard.

Web-based pan european HRIS
Has anyone conducted a recent evaluation of HR systems that can support multiple European countries? I am looking for a short-medium term solution, probably an ASP, and am not therefore interested in the “big beasts” – PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP etc. I would really like to find out which suppliers would be worth my while talking to. I look after a total European population of over 1000 permanent, with the same again associates and temps. Can anyone offer information, help, advice or experience?
Thanks

Intranet HR site
I was wondering if you could possibly share with me your experience of developing the web-enabled HR site for your organisation. I’m currently working on this project and will welcome any ideas/best practices.

Flexible benefits
Does anyone have any experience they would like to share of implementing flexible or multi-country benefits using PeopleSoft? Did you find you could hold all the data you needed to administer benefits schemes? Or did you still need spreadsheets or paper files?
Thanks for your help.

Time and attendance
We are considering introducing an automated time and attendance system to reduce personnel and payroll admin. We have approx 100 staff spread accross 6 sites, with growth plans for several more sites and personnel this year. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on systems they’ve worked with, and what the pros/cons are of a basic timeclock sytem in comparrison to an all singing and dancing piece of software?

Who should access self service?
When rolling out self service should the business give self service access to non-permanent staff? i.e. ad hoc contractors, agency staff, short term contractors

Flexitime package
Can anyone recommend a package for recording flexi-time in a small organisation (50 employees)? We have recently introduced flexible working for all employees and are currently using a paper-based system which we are finding a bit arduous!

Benchmark for payroll outsourcing
We employ 130+ people and run our own payroll for them. We also run another payroll for another company with only 5 staff. I am investigating what it would cost if we were to outsource, from the payroll to the bookeeping. Can anyone please give me an estimation of costs and how these are likely to be calculated, ie, per headcount, flat fee etc or any reference sources?
Thank you
