A bit of a strange one, but we have received a Freedom of Information Request from A Childcare Voucher provider asking for information on who our current provider is, how long the contract is and % service charge, how many employees are in the scheme.
This strikes me as a sales/marketing exercise. Is it right that suppliers can use the FOI process to obtain competitor information in this way?
Is there a danger that organisation end up being bogged down with suppliers and providers submitting such requests?
