I am an experienced (6 years) but unemployed management developer, with over 20 years in L&D and OD, all in blue chip companies. I’m getting interviews, though mostly for jobs significantly (£10k+) below my previous salary. However I’ve yet to secure a permanent position after more than a year. For some positions, a Level B would have been ‘desirable’ according to the job profile. Opinion from the agencies I’ve talked to is divided on the value of getting Level B in terms of securing a position.
