With new Age Discrimination legislation upon us I still see many, many employers and agencies asking for age during selection processes. Frequently this is online and frequently one is unable to ‘leave the field blank’, the age field being mandatory.
I see little impetus to change or ammend practices (electronically or otherwise).

From the canidadtes perspective what can be done about this so as not to cause a fuss and gain a reputation as a disruptive candidate but also to rightly remove age from the process?
