Our organisation would like to adapt an american style annual leave procedure, whereby they have to take a minimun of x20 days leave per annum but there is NO maximum.

so, a member of staff can take leave as and when they choose (after seeking permission from the Line Manager) and approval will depend on whether their targets have been achieved and workload.

Obviously this will have to be carefully managed and observed by the relevant Line Managers.

Has any one had experience of this or perhaps give me a few tips on how to devise the procedure and guide the managers on observing/recording teams annual leave

many thanks
