I am working for the NHS and currently have members working on an “as and when” basis, with no obligation on either side to offer or to accept any offer of work. I would like to put in place an appraisal system for these members and look at improving personal/professional development for them. They may work in serveral different areas and for several line managers in a given period of time.
Do anyone have experience of appraising staff who work on a as & when basis and who may work for many different managers during the year or have any suggestions on how I can produce a worhwhile/successful appraisal process for these people?
