Attendance Bonus Scheme

We have 170 employees’ and we will soon be going into the pay negotiations. Union members have requested an attendance bonus scheme, which we have agreed to consider.
Has anyone been successful in implementing and running a simmilar scheme, if so, what was the average payout per employee?
