I have recently commenced working with a Company where attendance is a major problem. I am looking to introduce a policy that will a) make it clear to employees the standards required and the potential penalties of non- compliance and b) make it easier for managers, who at present don’t like what is happening but have no idea how to deal with it, to manage the issue in a consistent manner across the Company. I.e. after X absences in Y period Z will happen.

Is anyone willing to let me have a copy of their policy? Any help would be appreciated as this is only one of a number of areas that needs looking at quickly.
