We have had a number of issues recently with a group of staff who work in the same location. After due deliberation and with agreement with our Unions, we decided the only course of action was to split this team up and move them to different locations. (Their contracts allow for this).

As a result, half of the team called in sick the following day, I beleive they are not unwell, and the same half met today with their union representative for advice.
What can I do? My belief is that they are fit for work but are making a protest about the management decision that has beeen taken to move them. If they are sick, how can they justify being able to attend a meeting?
