What is best practice when paying staff a bonus. We are not awarding a cost-of-living salary increase this year. However the company wants to award a 2% bonus payment, either monthly bachdated to April or as a one-off payment. Whose responsibility is it to pay the Tax and NIC on say a £200 bonus.
