Having been made redundant from my training job in a large company’s HR & Develoment department. I am looking for a change of career and felt that, with my excellent people and communication skills, HR would be an obvious avenue to explore. I have written in this forum before and I thank everyone who answered but, I have two, main problems with the advice received.
1. I cannot afford to enter HR at the lowest level and I feel that my experience should count for something. I am perfectly willing to study on the job but I need to be earning a minimum of 20K to be able to continue my (un-extravagant) life-style.
2. I cannot afford to pay for the CIPD qualifications myself.
I have seven years experience in an IT Training & Development environment and I KNOW that I would be an asset to any HR department.
Any advice (or job offers?) will be gratefully received
