My mum is a teacher and is being bullied by her line manager whose exacting standards mean that nothing my mum does is ‘good enough’. The line manager is well known as a bully and in fact, others have resigned due to her behaviour but my mum is finding it hard proving that this woman is actually doing anything wrong – in fact it looks as though she is doing her job to the letter. Like many cases, the behaviour of the bully towards the victim is hard to pinpoint but the bottom line is my mum is in pieces, dreads work every day and feels like quitting but she can’t afford to. HR are being all but useless about it and I was wondering whether anyone had any good ideas of what she can do?
