We currently have 2 methods of calculating an employees car (cash) allowance as an alternative to a company car. One is grade based and the other a percentage of base salary.

These schemes have been in place a number of years and I am attempting to benchmark what we currently do against the marketplace – we are an IT company.

I hae struggled to find much information.

Can anybody provid details of how thye calculate this?
