I have a client who rents out one of his business premises rooms to another business who then pays the wages of a casual caretaker for the actual premises themselves. My question is there an employment relationship? if there is who/if anyone is the employer of the Caretaker. Is their an employment relationship beween my client and the tenant’s casual worker even though he doesn’t directly work for him but does look after his premises? What are your thoughts?
