I am a graduate wanting to start studying for my CIPD in the early part of 2003 via self-funded flexible learning. Whilst researching where I should start, I have spoken to the CIPD and various organisations that offer the course, but am now rather confused about where I start. The Core Personnel and Development module looks like the most interesting to me, but most seem to suggest that Core Management is the best starting point. The CIPD say that the order in which the modules are completed is not important – can anybody make any helpful suggestions?
