I’ve recently noticed that our maternity policy and the employment contract states that operational level company car users (i.e. those that actually get a car because of their job role, not as a perk because they are managers) will require to surrender their car during any period of maternity leave. Surely this would be sex discrimination as we would not ask a male employee to do the same?
