An employee has given us the right to contact their GP to gain access to their medical records.

Firstly is there any “right” or “wrong” way to ask (any directions for a good letter welcome), secondly how does it work anyway? Do you get records to look at to draw your own conclusions, go and inspect them, or request a written report?
