I have been asked to develop a package to train staff in customer service at work, in an organisation where patients the public, fellow staff, are the “customers”.

The brief is to produce a ward-based pack, a process chart and a video to demonstrate the concept and practice of customer care in a public sector organisation like ours. It needs to be delivered across the board and will be compulsary I think.

Any best practice to share? Any ideas on making it appealing and relevant to people, or any known health sector documentation or similar programmes? Any experience on making videos/ “do’s and don’t’s” of producing resources or delivering such sessions to a potentially switched-off audience?
