I have been made redundant and just seen from my final pay slip that holiday pay has been deducted from my final salary (I had taken more than the pro rata’s number of days). However, I was never issued with a contract and therefore I have never given my consent to such a deduction. Whilst it may be standard practice in my (ex) company to make such a deduction, is it lawfull and can I challenge them about this. I believe that I am entitled to receive a full months pay – am I correct??
Please help!
