I recently applied for a HR job. After 6 weeks I was shortlisted for a first interview. A couple of days before the interview was cancelled and the agency involved told me that the job no longer existed – ie. the client had rethought their strategy.
What’s the legality on advertising jobs that ‘dont exist’.
I later saw that the’same’ job was advertised, same salary but just a different slant on its repsonsibilities and the agency told me that the client ‘had decided that this new role wasnt senior enough for me’.
