I have been asked by our MD to carry out a disciplinary investigation – we don’t have an HR department. The person under investigation was suspended yesterday – I am not familiar with the full reasons yet. I work for the sister company to the one where the employee works so it was felt that I could be completely independant as I do not now the staff in the other organisation.

Can anyone give me any tips on how I should go about the exercise.

Any help gratefully received.
