My company has recently dismissed an employee for gross misconduct. He has appealed against the dismissal, as is his right, and has requested a copy of the minutes of the dismissal hearing. I have no objection in principle to this request – the minutes are an accurate reflection of proceedings. My question is are we legally obliged to provide the minutes at this stage? Thanks.
